2004 Results: Bioscrypt earned 8 gold, 7 silver and 2 bronze medals out of 28 events in the Open competition and a further 5 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals out of 28 events in the Light competition, Bioscrypt achieved impressive results for the second time in the Fingerprint Verification Competition (FVC). Further, in placing first out of 41 participants in the Open category and fourth out of 26 participants in the Light category, Bioscrypt was the only participant to place in the top five in both the Open and Light categories based on the average equal error rate results over the 4 databases used for testing.
